De Tunesische zangeres Ghalia Benali werd sterk aangegrepen en voelt zich verbonden met de recente gebeurtenissen in Egypte, Palestina, Tunesië en Syrië. De poëtische teksten in MwSOUL zijn van haar hand of van jonge Arabische dichters. Het is haar meest spirituele project tot op heden. De levensadem horen we in de stem van Ghalia en de blaasinstrumenten van Mâäk; de polsslag komt dan weer van de oud, drums en percussie.
